Downton Abbey

I am kind of obsessed with the show Downton Abbey on PBS! Have you watched it yet? If not, I highly suggest you do!  The story itself is incredibly captivating and seeing the inside of a real castle is just as amazing!
The show is filmed in Highclere Castle (the home of the Carnarvon family since 1679) in the English countryside. The writer of Downton Abbey, Juilan Fellowes, is a longstanding friend of the Carnarvon family and had Highclere Castle in mind as he wrote Downton Abbey.  The Castle is one of England's most beautiful Victorian Castles and is set amidst 1,000 acres of spectacular land. ...reason enough to check out this masterpiece! (sorry for the off-center pictures!)

How unbelievable is the woodwork in this room?!
