Do you have nice built-in bookshelves that don't look finished to you?  Or, are your coffee tables or side tables looking a little bare? If so, try placing some books on them and see what a big difference it makes!  Books add color, texture, height, life, and interest to a space.  Here are some tips to keep in mind when decorating with books:

1.) Try to stick to hardcovers

2.) Remove the dust jacktes to show the textures and colors of the books

3.) Turn them different ways on booksleves to add interest and different heights

4.) Display them on coffee tables, side tables, bookshelves with knickkancks on top 

5.) You can never have too many books!
