Michael Jordan is selling his Highland Park, IL estate for just under $30 million! The house is spread over more than seven acres, offers nine bedrooms, 15 full bathrooms, four half baths, a putting green, a tennis court and three climate-controlled garages that hold 15 cars. Any takers?!

Orchid Love

Orchids are beautiful, delicate and perfect for any sun-filled space. Try putting them in a traditional urn in the entrance hall, clear glass in the family room or in a clam shell (see below) on the kitchen table!This flower can be the focal point in any room. Plus, they are inexpensive and easy to care for, well kind of!!!  Just make sure they get a TON of natural light and give them 3 ice cubes once a week.

Home With The Hilfigers

Take a look inside Tommy Hilfiger's penthouse apartment in the Plaza Hotel!   It is the perfect mix of modern and old-world charm.

Hilary Knight (Eloise illustrator) painted a mural of Eloise as an ode to the historic hotel.

The cabinetry and marble are gorgeous together!

Love, love, love the mirror-panels and the different chandeliers! 

This is my favorite room in the apartment! I love the paneling on the walls and the fresh, neutral color scheme.

Silhouettes

Silhouettes are a great way to add a personal touch to your home. You can stick with the more traditional black and white versions or go for a colorful and youthful design.  Try hanging a cluster of silhouettes on your wall or placing a couple of larger ones above a couch or bed.
